A climbing rose growing up to 3 metres, although generally can be contained to a tall shrub with arching canes. A healthy bush with virtually no thorns and clusters of tiny pale yellow or white flowers. Really pretty. Generally flowers for a few months in the spring.

Lady Banks Rose – (Rosa banksiae)
A hardy evergreen climbing rose originally from China, Lady Banks’ Rose (Rosa banksiae) is a famous vigorous climbing rose. Named after the botanist Joseph Banks it has been widely grown in Australia for many years.

Drought tolerant, disease resistant, masses of flowers, easy care rose, almost thornless. Long lived and very rewarding.

Being vigorous, this is a plant that requires good sturdy support.

Varieties
Two forms are commonly available, the yellow form Rosa Banksiae ‘lutea’, and the white form Rosa Banksiae ‘alba’.
