ICEBERG
(KORbin)
When famous Rose Breeder Sam McGredy IV was asked if he had to choose just one rose to take to an island paradise, what it would be? He answered, “Iceberg”. Another rose expert, Eric Trimper, said, “Iceberg will never let you down.”
Iceberg was hybridized in 1958 by Reimer Kordes in Germany and is one of the world’s most popular Floribunda roses. A universal best-seller for decades, it is well known for its hardiness in all rose-growing regions tolerating both hot and cold temperature extremes. Two recent sports are ‘Brilliant Pink Iceberg’ and ‘Burgundy Iceberg’.
Iceberg can be grown as a tall bush, a well performing climber or excellent standard. Popular with home gardeners and professional landscapers, it is seen everywhere. It is famous for its low maintenance and rapid repeat flowering, producing large and small clusters of beautifully shaped white double blooms all season long with the added benefit of healthy leaves and good disease tolerance.
Flowers are generally borne in clusters of up to 7 blooms per stem. Each flower has up to 35 soft, delicate white petals and displays an attractive fruity fragrance, sometimes displaying a blush of pink in cold weather.
The bush grows to 1.5m x 1.5m and its consistent growth and size make it perfect for use as a 90cm standard rose. It is the most commonly used standard rose for fences, borders or public spaces in Australia. It is also excellent as a potted rose. Generally, avoid severe pruning.
Iceberg deserves its iconic reputation having won Gold Medals in numerous rose trials around the world and was inducted into the World Federation of Rose Societies’ Rose Hall of Fame in 1983.

Potted Rose Supplied in Plastic Pot, Bag or Gro Bag. May be supplied as a recently potted dormant plant during Winter while into Spring and Summer will be well-established and possibly flowering. A potted rose will be settled long enough to establish that it has a good survival rate. Protect from frost and keep well watered. Potted Roses can be planted all year and will generally settle more quickly than a bare root rose.

Bare-Root Rose will be supplied as the name suggests, with bare roots ready to plant and must be collected/delivered/planted immediately after soaking. Bare-root roses have more risk of non-survival than a potted rose and generally one would expect 80-90% survival rates.

Care Water well and often. Roses do not like to dry out particularly when freshly planted. Roses prefer an even moisture not too wet, not too dry.
No fertilisers at planting for approx. 3 weeks until established. Fertilise as spring approaches. Add some potassium (don’t overdo it) and you will be rewarded with flowers in November. Roses flower in flushes, some more often than others. Water, rain, manures and fertilizers as well as pruning will all help to bring new flushes.

Please read Eumundi Roses terms and conditions. No refund or replacement policy. Plants are a living thing and as such will die for various reasons beyond our control. Most roses live a long and happy life. Colour of your flowers will vary throughout the seasons and is dependent on temperature, soil type and many other factors, just as leaves on the trees turn from green to red in the Autumn, flowers also change. Australia Post Express or Fastway Couriers is listed as Australia wide flat rate: Rates will be automatically calculated AFTER you have entered your address details on the form. Please check the amount. If it seems unreasonable please contact us. The calculator is good but not infallible.

Parcels sent are charged according to their actual weight or cubic weight equivalent, whichever is greater. These charges are automatically calculated by the website once your address is entered on the order form. The calculated amount will be displayed prior to payment.
Expect 2-4 working days express and 4-21 days parcel post after we have notified that your order is ready and has been consigned. Courier destinations to major centres normally overnight to 4 working days after notification. During busy periods or if goods need to be propagated or wait for bare root season there can be lengthy delays. We will notify as much as we can of any delays. Expect 3 to 6 weeks lead time for most orders. Depending on season and availability it can be only days or can be a long wait even years for some varieties. These will list as available by pre-order. For weekends and Public holidays please note that we will avoid any holdover in depots where we possibly can. If your order needs to be received by a specific date or any other special instructions regarding the delivery there is a delivery comments section on the order form where you can provide this information. Please refrain from contacting us where possible regarding when the delivery will arrive. There is a chronological system in place that ensures customers receive their deliveries in turn. The list of orders is always on screen and constantly monitored for items ready to leave. If you’ve not received a notice that your order is coming it’s most likely not ready yet. Please check if your item is listed as “in stock” or “pre-order” They will both most likely say available. In stock generally means it is in stock at the nursery now. However bear in mind that stock moves very quickly and those changes may not be up to the minute. Best to check stock first if it’s important. Email eumundiroses1@gmail.com In the subject write “CHECK STOCK”. The email will be given priority.
Available by pre-order means you will need to wait until that item returns to stock. This could be a matter of days or can be up to 3 years or more for rare or in high demand difficult to produce varieties. Again please also “CHECK STOCK” Occasionally you may be pleasantly surprised. The stock can be here and not yet entered into inventory. Once an order is paid we do not refund. Please refrain from unpleasant calls, texts and emails over goods you wish to be earlier than they possibly can be. These are not helpful and will be blocked. Urgent orders will be treated as such where marked on the order itself with the date required.

To outer destinations please expect delivery times up to 3 weeks from time of leaving Eumundi. Plants are packed to handle up to a few weeks if necessary but only if the plants are not exposed to heat. Please consider options carefully as these are perishable goods. We would much prefer you could find a way to collect or wait for one of our runs where we deliver ourselves to many areas.
