What is Pre-Order?

Pre-Order

Availability of a product will show as "in Stock" meaning we probably have it here at the nursery right now.

Or.. it might say "Pre-Order". Out of current stock items will list as pre-order and all bare-root items will list as pre-order

The reason to pre-order is to allocate that product to you. Roses of many varieties have limited supply each season. Once that supply is allocated, the pre-order rolls on to the following year or replacement options will be offered. The sooner a product is pre-ordered (bought and paid for before the goods are supplied, before the roses are dug) the more likely it is to be allocated to that order. Particularly with Bare root roses, this is a good method because the life of the roses once dug is very limited. If customers have purchased, then all that needs to be done is to dig and send rather than hold the roses for any period of time. Generally first orders in are first orders sent out as soon as they become available stock.

What happens if a pre-order becomes unattainable? Replacement of your choosing or in store credit options will be offered. Every effort will be made to fill the order. If you have concerns by all means tick pay by cash or pay by transfer. You choose when you'd like to pay with these options. The order will be in the system and in line for the product. You will be contacted when your turn comes. If you do not wish to convert to a paid order right then or can't be contacted, the product will be allocated to the next order in line.
