Medium to Large bushes, often with tall canes in a relaxed arching habit. Shrub roses contain some of the older style hybrid rugosas, hybrid musks and the modern shrub roses. Ideal for areas of mass display that will bloom all season. Modern Shrub is an official ARS class for shrub-like roses that do not fit into other classes. Some floribundas could also be considered to belong to this class.
