Definitions:

Bare Root Roses
are roses with no soil on their roots, supplied ready to plant immediately. Bare root have a lesser chance of survival than a potted rose, Expect approx 10% loss rate. Secret to success. Water, lots of water until the rose is established. Highly recommended that these are pre-ordered well ahead to arrive the following Winter. Roses are only dug during the winter months. By late July/early August all of the Bare Root roses will be unavailable for the current year and only potted in stock for the rest of the year. Pre-order of bare root roses is available all year.

Potted Roses
are in a pot sufficient to maintain the plant for the following 9 to 12 months with required care. The plant may be freshly potted or it may be well established and flowering depending on which stage your purchase is made. Secret; dont let the roots dry out too much. Generally a potted rose is going to be at a stage where we give the plant a very high chance of survival. Potted Roses can be ordered at any time of the year and may be in stock now or may need to be back ordered until they do become stock.

Standards
(Roses grown atop of a long stem) Please Pre-Order well ahead to avoid disappointment. Some varieties in limited numbers are carried in Stock. Generally the standard roses are dug last and will be available from late July/mid August bareroot and potted after that. Do not prune the main stem of a standard rose.
