These are the roses that have been around for a really long time. Do your homework on these. Some are spectacular and every growers dream, but others just don’t do what a modern grower now expects from rose plants. Some will flower prolifically but others may only flower once a year or only when they really feel the conditions are ideal. Some will have thorns like a briar thicket and others hardly any. Some don’t hold their petals well, but make up for it with the mass display they give.
